Our school has been given the dates for our very critical Casino fundraiser at Ace Casino Airport. This year we were given:

• Saturday November 30th
• Sunday December 1st, 2024.

Casino fundraisers bring our school a HUGE chunk of money that we use to put towards our in-school residencies and to enrich our school's learning environment. Additionally, this money can help support bussing for field trips, art, physical education and Indigenous residencies as well as many other things. However, we cannot hold the Casino fundraiser without our community's volunteers. If you, your family members, or friends are available that weekend we would greatly appreciate your help! You do not need a police clearance. Healthy Hunger

We are beginning our Healthy Hunger Fundraising with Fun Lunch at the end of October. This is a great opportunity to save some time in the mornings and have a warm lunch brought to school for your child(ren).  

Please visit https://healthyhunger.ca to create an account. Once you are set up add “Ron Southern School” and your select your child's Teacher name from the list. 

All orders must be in before midnight five days before each event. 

** Fun Lunch is only available for Grades 1 to 6 and EES**

We would like to remind you, if your child is away and you would like to pick up their lunch, please email the school at ronsouthern@cbe.ab.ca Email must include student name, teacher name and time of pickup. Pickup will only be available during the day of the Fun Lunch after 1:00pm and before 3:00pm.

Please note that if we do not receive your email by 11:00 AM on the day of the Fun Lunch, the lunch will be donated.

Due to food handling regulations, we are required to dispose of all unclaimed food by the end of day. 

Who Wants Cookie Dough?

Back by popular demand, we are excited to announce that we have cookie dough and more available for order! We understand that the Big Box of Cards fundraiser just concluded last week, but due to numerous requests from families, we wanted to provide another opportunity to support our school.

• Delivery: Orders will be delivered 3 weeks after the deadline, just in time for the holidays. All

Ron Southern Parent Society is also excited to announce we have partnered with Mabel’s Labels! This fundraiser will continually run throughout the year, so you may purchase at any time.
