Registration for Kindergarten opened this week, and we are excited by all the new families that have already registered their child(ren) for the 2024-25 school year.  If you are aware of families with kids who would be new to our school community, please let them know to register online or contact us. 

Tonight is School Council!  We encourage families to attend school council meetings as it allows parents/guardians to contribute their knowledge, perspective and ideas.  School councils are a bridge between the school and community and work together to support and enhance learning.   A healthy school council requires the active participation of many voices. 

This will be the last year for our current council, and we need volunteers to fill these positions.  We encourage you to join tonight’s meeting so that you can learn about the various ways council supports the learning and culture at Ron Southern School and how you can best contribute to this work.  If you are able to, please take the time to attend our council meeting.  Our students have benefited immensely from the hard work of Council, and we would like that to continue.  Hope to see many new and familiar faces tonight.  ​
