Dear Parents/Guardians,   

We are excited to invite you to Ron Southern’s Winter Concert: “Night at the Junos – Celebrating Canadian Music!” This event will feature performances by our students with a special presentation by the Division 1 Choir. 

Due to the size of our student body, we will host two concerts: one for Kindergarten to Grade 2, and another for Grades 3 to 6. We will be doing daytime performances in order for our students to be able to see each other perform as well as our regular evening performance for immediate family members.  If you are unable to attend the evening performance, we welcome you to attend the daytime concerts.  Please see below for more details! 

Date: December 12th, 2024 

  1. Daytime Performance: 

Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 2, Division 1 Choir, & EES 

Time: 10:00 - 10:45 am 

Grades 3, 4, 5, 6, & EES 

Time: 1:15 - 2:00 pm 

  1. Evening Performance: 

Please note that Parking in the school parking lot is reserved for staff.   

Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 2, Division 1 Choir, & EES 

  • The main doors open at 5:30 pm 
  • Please drop of your student at their classroom before finding a seat in the gym 
  • The concert will run from approximately: 5:45 - 6:30 pm 
  • At the conclusion of the concert please pick up your child from their classroom. 
  • We ask, unless necessary, families do not leave until the conclusion of the concert. 
  • Please use door #2 (The northwest doors closest to Silverado way) to exit the school.  The main doors will be used to enter the school ONLY.   
  • If you are staying for the second concert, please leave your child with their classroom teacher until the end of the second performance. 
  • If you are picking up your cookie dough order, you can pick it up by the courtyard doors, by classroom #135 which is located just past the student washrooms. 

Grades 3, 4, 5, 6, & EES 

  • The main doors will open at 6:15. 
  • Students can walk on their own to their classroom 
  • Parents/ Guardians are asked to wait in the gathering space until the gym has been cleared out from the first performance. 
  • The concert will run from approximately: 6:50 - 7:35 pm 
  • At the conclusion of the concert please pick up your child from their classroom. 
  • If you are picking up your cookie dough order, you can pick it up by the courtyard doors, by classroom #135 which is located just past the student washrooms. 

Important Note for Evening Performances: 

  • We ask that only immediate family members attend the evening performances. Due to space limits in the gym for fire safety, extended family members are invited to come to the daytime performance.
