This year, one area of professional development we will focus on is creating better math tasks. On our professional learning day this Friday, we will discuss Math Identity and explore how we can help students feel more confident and capable in math. Our goal is for all students to see themselves as mathematicians and build a more positive relationship with math. 

On Friday, teachers will also work together using the Collaborative Response Model. This is a process that all CBE schools are using. It encourages creativity and allows teachers to share their expertise to address both social and academic challenges in the school.
