Have you logged onto our website recently?  If you have, you would have noticed it looks quite different than our old one.  Our website is an important location to find out about the school, upcoming events, and resources to support your child(ren)’s learning.

One of the new features on our website that we are excited about is our interactive calendar.  This calendar allows us to upload more notable events than what we able to list on the PDF version of the calendar.  For example, you can now find out when conference bookings open, when Ms. Serediuk is running her after school baton club for grade 4-6 girls and the dates for Grade 6 Provincial Achievement Test.  You find this page either by viewing the calendar directly or visiting the homepage and looking under the calendar header.

As mentioned, the website also contains great resources for learning.  One place you can find these resources is by clicking “Resources for Students” tab, which is found once you click the CBE eLibrary icon on the main page.  From here you can access some amazing sites and such as:

  • “But Why: A Podcast for Curious Kids” and learn about what would happen if the world rotated in the opposite direction.
  • “Science News for Students” and learn about why blueberries look blue when they are actually red!
  • Access many different magazines through the Calgary Public Library such as National Geographics for kids.
  • And much, much more.

If you have any feedback on how we can enhance the website experience or content, please contact Dr. Garg at angarg@cbe.ab.ca.

March 10 is the beginning of Ramadan.  We would like to wish Ramadan Mubarak to all our families who celebrate Ramadan.
