Dear Parents/Guardians,   

We encourage families to attend school council meetings as it allows parents/guardians to contribute their knowledge, perspective and ideas.  School councils are a bridge between the school and community, working together to support and enhance learning.   A healthy school council requires the active participation of many voices. 

Our next Council meeting is on Thursday, January 16 from 6:15 – 8:00pm. You can attend in person or online. During this meeting, we will be discussing three important topics: 

• Update on the School Development Plan – Learn about the growth we are seeing in our students regarding social emotional development and mathematics.     
• Professional Development with the Staff regarding reading – Learn how we use learning sprints to identify gaps in learning, instructional actions and track data on student progress 
• New format for Report Card comments
